How did you decide on construction as a career?
I spent 4 years as a recruiter specializing in the placement of construction management professionals around the Boston area. During that time, I received a great education on many facets of the construction business and the more that I learned; the more comfortable I felt networking within the industry.
What do you like the most about this industry/your job?
The people I have encountered in this business have been genuine, focused and passionate people. I respect the commitment that the professionals in this field have to their craft. I take great satisfaction out of learning a little something from every person that I meet and my job offers me the opportunity to rub elbows with people from every corner of this industry.
What are your hobbies/interests?
I love to entertain friends, good red wine, flea markets and the beach. Coming from the Midwest, I miss country side and love taking day trips to get out of the city. I am an amateur runner inching my way towards a half marathon. However, my 2 year old son Jack provides the real joy and excitement in our life.
